Sikh youth takes upon goons single
handedly to save a woman

AMRITSAR: Nimit Sarup Singh of Amritsar
set an example of bravery and courage while fighting with two goons
and save a lady.
His
son is in intensive care unit of a private hospital yet he is not
worried but feels proud for the daring act of his teenage son. Dr.
Paramjit Singh, father of Nimit Sarup Singh , 15 year old student of
plus one, proudly narrates how his son roughed up with two goons
who attempted to snatch the handbag of a lady at New Partap Nagar .
Paramjit said Nimit was standing outside his home when he spotted
two motorcycle borne youth who attempted to snatch the handbag of a
lady passing by. "He courageously took on both of them but one of
the goons attacked him with a dagger on his neck due to which he
sustained serious injuries.
Nimit was in the intensive care unit of the hospital and is
recovering.
The
American Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee has appreciated Nimit Sarup
Singh’s courage and said the youth should derive inspiration from
this young man. Committee’s convenor Pritpal Singh congratulated Dr
Paramjit Singh saying his son has set an example with an act of
courage as per Sikh traditions.
