Where is Sewak Singh, the student?
WSN Network

Patiala: Amid fears that police has been whisking away Sikh youth in Punjab on flimsy grounds, students of various departments worried about mysterious disappearance of Ph.D student Sewak Singh and met vice-chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala Jaspal Singh. Sewak Singh of Bajewala Village of Mansa is doing his doctorate under Dr. Joga Singh from Linguistics department on “Gurbani Grammar”. Students informed the VC that on 4 September at around mid night, Sewak Singh, who is also sub-editor of a Punjabi Monthly Magazine Shahadat, was brought to the university by police in Homi Bhabha Hostel of the campus to search room number 29A which is official allotted to him. After that, police took him away and since then no one knows his whereabouts.
