Sikhs to hold Guru Granth Sahib

 To take stock of
the situation of the Sikhs in South East Asia
and to inspire the Sikh Sangat to partake of Guru Granth Sahib’s
blessings, as part of the Gurta Gaddhi celebration, the Sikhs of
Malaysia are holding a conference focusing on Leadership of Guru
Granth Sahib in the 21st century at Petaling Jaya on 12
October.
To be
inaugurated by the former Jathedar of Takht Anandpur Sahib, Prof.
Manjit Singh, the conference will see the participation of
distinguished speakers from various parts of the world.
In a significant
development, the programme is organized jointly by all Malaysian
Sikh organizations, namely, The Sant Sohan Singh Ji Melaka Memorial
Society, Sikh Women's Awareness Network, Khalsa Diwan Malaysia, Sikh
Naujawan Sabha Malaysia, Malaysian Gurdwaras Council, Network of
International Sikh Entrepreneurs, Sikh Welfare Society Malaysia,
Guru Nanak Guru Gobind Singh Foundation Malaysia, Sikh Chamber of
Commerce & Industry, Tatt Khalsa Diwan Selangor and Gurdwara Sahib
