Inderjit Hassanpuri in coma

LUDHIANA: Well known Punjabi writer, lyricist, actor, director, producer Inderjit Singh Hassanpuri is currently lying in a coma at Ludhiana’s Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. He suffered kidney failure, low blood pressure and heart problems. 

Dr Navdeep Khaira, who is treating Hassanpuri, described his condition critical even as CM Prakash Singh Badal announced that the state will bear all expenses on the treatment of the Punjabi genius. Hassanpuri is producer and writer of Punjabi movies like Teri Meri Ik Jindri, Daaj, Sukhi Parivar etc.
