Dublin, CA: Sunbay
Technologies Inc., a services firm known for helping senior
executives execute business and technology initiatives, has now
launched TeriSikhi.com, a social networking site for Sikhs.
Teri Sikhi, a
network for Sikhs, ambitiously plans to bring the divided Sikh
community on to one platform. Teri Sikhi is designed to bring Sikh
people, from all around the world, together by creating a fun,
supportive, and educational community of like-minded people.
“Nowadays, there are a lot of Sikhs out there that do not know much
about their culture. Teri Sikhi was created so that it can teach
them about the culture of Sikhism. Life is what we make it, let's
connect and have fun!” a statement issued to herald the launch said.
TeriSikhi endeavours
to be a full featured social networking site and includes blogs,
events, reminders, sharing files and web resources/bookmarks,
uploading photos, presentations and forming informal groups. This
project was lead by Simeranjeet Singh Sandhu and Harkeerat Kaur
Sandhu. The site is dedicated to 300th anniversary of Shri Guru
Granth Sahib Ji and 20 Million Signature Campaign to open Kartarpur
Sahib Marg.
