Satwant Singh's family facing problems
WSN Network

CHANDIGARH: In reports appearing in the media attributed to certain news agencies, Sardar Tarlok Singh, the father of Satwant Singh has accused India's ruling Congress party of intimidating his family members.

It seems, as per the reports that a brother of Satwant Singh, named Sarwan Singh, lives in New Zealand but because of the cases filed against him by the police, he has not been able to visit home. He said police had picked up many of his relatives immediately after Indira Gandhi was killed.

He said the Government of India has now no possible reason to continue to harass the family. Satwant Singh's nephew Sukhwinder Singh said the family continues to suffer because of police machinations.

It seems the family members of Satwant Singh continue to suffer some problems in the village as some residents were opposed to them because of the action of Satwant Singh to avenge the army attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
