Wanna be top brass Akali? Sure, why not?
WSN Network

CHANDIGARH: One way to make a panel useless is to stuff it, and with an MBA under his belt, Sukhbir Singh Badal understands the dictum. No wonder, the Akali Dal’s Working Committee has now got 108 members and more will be stuffed too if the need arose. Logic? Representation to all! Apart from that, there is a 300 plus strong General Council and an Advisory Council too.

And 61 leaders of the party have been designated as special invitees. Amongst the 301 members of the General Council, the names of 250 have also been released. Along with this, 35 senior leaders have been nominated as Political Advisers. Care to get a tag? Please pick up one from the Akali Dal’s headquarters. Tags come free, power remains with father-son duo expandable to include Dad- Mom-Son-Son’s wife, Son’s sala, nephew.
