Pingalwara's Dr Inderjit Kaur, Hans Raj Hans awarded

AMRITSAR: Among those who were nominated for India's civilian honours on the country's Republic Day were All India Pingalwara Charitable Society chairperson Dr Inderjit Kaur for the Padma Bhushan for her social work, sufi singer Hans Raj Hans for the Padma Shri, Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Amitabh Mattoo for the Padma Shri, Chandigarh-based Dr B.N. Goswami and Jagjit Singh Chopra for the Padma Bhushan for their work on the field of arts and medicine, respectively.

Dr Inderjit Kaur said she would dedicate the award to her mentor Bhagat Puran Singh. Hans said it was his father's dream. and he dedicated it to his parents and Gurus.
