Sikh Bal Kavi Darbar in Canada

ABBOTSFORD: The first ever Bal Kavi Darbar of Sikh children born in Canada was organized by Gurdwara Sahib Kalgidhar Darbar Abbotsford here in which Gurmat Center, Shane-Khalsa, Gurmat Academy, Dasmesh School and Kalgidhar Sahib Society participated. Also, sangat from Vancouver Lowerman land apart from Bellingham and even kids from US participated enthusiastically. The kavi darbar competition went on for three hours. In a unique feature, most kids were aged between seven and nine years, and a majority had memorized the poems and rendered them in pure Punjabi.
