Senior Sikh citizens of Canada back Prof Darshan Singh 

ABBOTSFORD: After many Canadian Singh Sabhas rejected the unilateral action against Prof Darshan Singh, former Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, now a large number of Sikh senior citizens of Canada have come out in support of the former cleric. 

Bhai Vir Singh, senior Sikh leader from Abbotsford, said the meeting of the senior Sikh leaders has appealed to the Jathedars of the quom to convene a Sarbat Khalsa to discuss the issues raised by Prof Darshan Singh. They said the action against the former cleric and preacher of Gurbani was at the instance of forces connected to the RSS.
