Seminar on Khushal Lali's book
underlines importance of volantary missions

CHANDIGARH: A
seminar on Khushal Lali’s book Babe Da Mission held at Punjab Kala
Bhawan brought together many literary and media personalities of the
city. Sant Sukhjit Singh Seechewal, a close colleague of Sant Balbir
Singh Seechewal, Rajinder Saini, Chief Editor of Parvasi Media
Group, Canada, Sidhu Damdami, Editor Punjabi Tribune, Dr. Nahar
Singh of Punjab University and Dr. Harbans Singh Chahal of Govt.
College Kapurthala were among the main speakers.
Daljit Ammi,
producer of a documentary film on the Kar Seva and Dr. Jaswinder
Singh Khun Khun Kalan also spoke about the book.
The book was
released on
July 27, 2008 at
Sultanpur Lodhi by former President APJ Abdul Kalam in the presence
of Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal. Kalam had described the book as a
historical document which will explain the importance of the mission
to coming generation.
Author of the
book Khushal lali has closely followed the activities of Sant
Seechewal over the years and has been writing about environment,
agriculture and related issues in various newspapers and journals.
