Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp at Lazarus, Delaware, Ohio

Dayton(Ohio): The Sikh Youth Federation of USA organized a Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp at Lazarus, Delaware ,(Ohio). About 100 boys and girls from USA and Toronto (Canada) attended. According to Kuldeep Singh Toledo, convener of the camp Sikh Youth Gurmat Camp has been organized in United States since 1973 by Sikh Youth Federation of USA .

Classes for Keertan, Sikh history, Guru history and Punjabi were held apart from regular morning and evening diwans in this camp. Prabhati Pheri led by “Panj Pyarey” was taken out regularly every day. Various Sikh scholars like Dr.Amarjit Singh, Bhai Paritam Singh, Bhai Mehar Singh addressed the participants on different topics. Different competions in sports and Dastar Sajawan (Turban tying) were held.
