Rajindra Kothi is now a heritage
hotel
WSN Network
Patiala: While
proponents of saving heritage and culture may have a different view
on it but the Punjab CM did express immense happiness after
inaugurating “The Baradari Palace”, a heritage hotel of the Neemrana
Group of Hotels, located at the Baradari Gardens. The century-old
Rajindra Kothi is now a swank hotel.
Questions about
accessibility of culture and legacy remained untouched as Badal
spoke of promoting tourism through high quality heritage and budget
hotels and Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Hira Singh Gabria
recalled the importance of Rajindra Kothi and praised as to what a
good-quality heritage hotel has it been turned into.
A 30-year lease
agreement had been signed with Neemrana Group of Hotels on a
profitsharing basis for the 4.65-acre property.
