CHANDIGARH:  The global slowdown does not seem to affected the ultra-rich of Punjab.

Aiming to tap the growing spending capacity in the luxury class, BJETS, a provider of personal aviation, has launched services in Punjab.

Based in Singapore and Mumbai, BJETS is the first dedicated personal-aviation provider in the region, giving customers the freedom to travel wherever and whenever they want, whether for business or leisure.

Clients would have access to a personal plane without the need to bother about its maintenance cost. Also, there would be no bother of booking tickets in advance, as BJETS promises aircraft availability with a 24-hour notice.

Clearly, the ability to purchase and own private jets and the poor connectivity to the region, is providing a market for jet players.
