Widow Colony to be screened at Berkeley
WSN Nework 

CALIFORNIA: Sikh Students Association of University of Berkeley has arranged a screening of the documentary Widow Colony on 20 November  2050 VLSB at the University. This film is a film about a government sponsored widow colony in Tilak Vihar in India.  

This ghetto is a settlement of women and their families that lost husbands, sons, and brothers in the Delhi 1984 pogroms and in the movie the survivors share the stories of their loss. The director of the film, Manmeet Singh, will be at the showing to lead a discussion after the documentary.
