KAC hits at Hit for utterances against Phoolka
WSN Network

CHANDIGARH: Taking a serious view of the unreasonable, false and malicious utterances of the Delhi State President of the Akali Dal (Badal), Avtar Singh Hit against activist advocate, Harvinder Singh Phoolka, the Khalsa Action Committee has warned ruling Akali Dal supremo Parkash Singh Badal to rein-in his Delhi-based leaders or face the wrath of the Sikhs.

The convenor and spokesperson of the KAC, Bhai Mohkam Singh and Kanwarpal Singh, in a hard hitting statement, said that anyone speaking against leading Human Rights activist advocate Phoolka at this critical stage tantamounts to working against the ‘national’ interest of the Sikh people.

Unsparing in its approach, the KAC warned Hit to desist from maligning advocate Phoolka, who, it said, was not fighting a personal battle against genocide-accused Jagdish Tytler but the battle of the Sikh community.

The Khalsa Action Committee asked Hit to explain his actions of supporting murderers like Jagdish Tytler at this critical juncture of the trial.  The KAC said it will expose the misdeeds of Avtar Singh Hit, Atma Singh Lubana and Pr*ahlad Singh Chandok with documentary evidence.  “We will support all actions of advocate Phoolka to ensure that Jagdish Tytler was put behind bars. Anyone who becomes a stumbling block in this mission will be exposed and a complaint would also be lodged against such persons at the Akal Takht Sahib,” said the convenor.

It has been a long held perception among the Sikh community that the Delhi-based leaders often care only for their own petty interests, and accordingly sometimes toe the BJP line or become stooges of the Congress.

Spelling out their future course of action in Delhi politics, both the leaders avowed to take more interest in the Sikh politics of Delhi and ensure that no Badal Dal leader takes the Sikhs for a ride.

The Khalsa Action Committee endorses every word and line of the Manoj Mitta-Harvinder Singh Phoolka book, “When A Tree Shook Delhi” and steps would be taken to legally pursue all leads mentioned in the book, the leaders said.
