Sikh Community Honors Ujjagar Singh Gill
WSN Network

CHICAGO: Sikh community of Chicago along with members of Asian American Seniors Association (AASA) honored S Ujjagar Singh Gill and his wife Sardarni Surjit Kaur Gill at Udupi Restaurant in Schaumburg for their contribution to Sikh Community.

They are leaving for India for their annual winter vacation.

S.Gill was an Advocate in India all his life and some times substituted as Judge. He is an active member of AASA and is well versed with the Sikh religion. He has published a concise book on Sikhism, “Guru Granth Sahib” and he distributes it free of charge. The book is a compilation of writings of prominent non Sikh writers about Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

S.Gill is a firm believer in Sikhism, opposes rituals in Sikhi, and firmly believes if something doesn’t hold up according to Sri Guru Granth Sahib, it should not be associated with Sikhi.
