GENCO organizes annual Akhand Path Sahib

Fremont: GENCO, Guru Nanak Engineering College Alumni Association, Bay Area celebrated their Annual Gurpurab with Akhand Path Sahib at Fremont Gurdwara Sahib from Nov 13-15, 2009.

The GENCO, Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab Alumni consists of ex students/staff and their families/friends. GENCO has been performing the Annual Akhand Path Sahib on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday from past 35 yrs.

The Akhand Path Sahib started on Friday 13th November and the bhog was performed on Sunday 15th November.  Genco families and friends performed the Langar sewa for all three days.

After the Bhog ceremony, Genco had their annual general body meeting that was attended by about 50 members, where new 2010-year committee was selected.   The new Genco Chairman selected for year 2010 is Mr. Ranbir Atwal.  Mr. Amritpal Sra is new Secretary and Mr. Sanjay Kapoor is new Treasurer.
