KANSAS:
As part of the continuing efforts to weave together the Sikh youth
into a formidable force at a time when traditional politicians have
let the community down, the resurgent Sikh youth movement received
another morale booster with the setting up of the Kansas chapter of
the Sikh Youth of America.
Charanjit Singh Hundal was
elected as President of the Kansas unit while Sukhmandar Punia and
Rajvier Kaur were elected as Senior Vice-President and
Vice-President, respectively. Other office bearers will be
Treasurer: Gurbahar Singh Tiwana, Secretary: Harman Kaur Tiwana,
Spokesperson: Jasjit Kaur and Members: Balkaran Singh, Navpreet
Singh, Kirandeep Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Gurjeet Kaur Hundal.
