Jasvir Gill leads from the front to equip students with skill sets
WSN Network

SANJOSE: The Amritsar Times Media Group, the World Sikh News and AlertEnterprise, the security software providers, joined hands to conduct a workshop with active participation of the San Jose Sikh Students Association.

AlertEnterprise CEO Jasvir Gill and his team spent over three hours with the Punjabi students who came to study from Punjab and explained to them how to build resumes, prepare for interviews, work attitude etc.

Such skillsets are all the more necessary in an increasingly competitive world where much of the fights for jobs are lost or won with the making of the resume itself and how a candidate conducts himself in an interview.

The company with the help of local Gurdwara Sahib Fremont had organized this  workshop in San Jose State University on Saturday.

Jasvir Gill laid stress on both content and presentation and said in the corporate driven world, the core strengths must be combined with PR skills, acknowledging inter-personal communication’s importance and developing a positive attitude towards the world of work.

Fremont Gurdwara Sahib management went all the way to cooperate and facilitate the workshop.

Jasveer Singh Gill’s team included, apart from his own significant contribution, Ruby Deol,  Ricky Arora and Prabhdev Singh.

Alert Enterprise, a provider of software that coordinates physical and IT security to prevent overlaps, was founded by Chief Executive Jasvir Gill, a former CEO of Virsa. The need for tighter security is especially pressing in industries that are sensitive to physical intrusion, such as utilities, transportation and chemical.

Alert Enterprise, committed to hire and train Indian foreign students, came out with a new plan to help Punjabi or Indian students studying in USA to train them for existing global job market.
