Love Aaj Kal –mocking or loving Sikhs?
WSN Bureau

This movie, with the central character as a Sikh played by Saif Ali Khan, the son of the illustrious actress Sharmila Tagore, who is the chairperson of the Censor Board is slated for release during this month, is already the talk of Sikh circles for its purported story line undermining Sikh ethos.

While the actor himself has claimed that “he has been careful while playing the Sikh character”, Sikhs in Mumbai are planning to petition the Censor Board for a preview before it hits the cinema stands.

According to information gathered by the Sikh Media Watch group of Mumbai, the film, directed by Mr Imtiaz Ali mocks at the Sikhs and compromises Sikh religious values in a bad, humiliating and derogatory manner.
