WSN Network

THE AMRITSAR (Rural) police on Tuesday arrested Nihang Ajit Singh Poohla from Darawali village in Gurdaspur district. An inquiry ordered by the Punjab and Haryana High Court had recently indicted Poohla in a mass murder case registered at Beas police station. His bail, too, was rejected on April 7 and ever since Poohla was absconding. SSP Iqbal Singh said the accused was arrested following a tip-off and would be produced before the court on Wednesday.
