Don’t know English? Can’t migrate
to UK
LONDON:
Skilled Indian migrants to the UK will be badly
hit by changes to its immigration policy, requiring tens of
thousands more workers from non-EU countries to be forced to learn
English. The revelation is expected to be controversial and will
affect substantial categories of non-European skilled workers
ranging from “curry house chefs” to other sectors of the service
sector. Experts said the crackdown on non-European immigration is
aimed to reduce the number of people entering Britain. —WSN
