Public Health Dept holds camp at
Fremont for anti-influenza vaccines
WSN Network
Fremont:
In order to ensure health safety of the sangat in view of the Swine
Flu threat, the Public Health Department of Alameda held a one day
long camp at Gurdwara Sahib, Fremont where registered nurse Bibi
Narinder Kaur and well known actor of Punjabi and Hindi films, Ashok
Tangri, led the service initiative.
Some 600 people
receive inoculating shots as a nine member team worked throughout
the day.
Supervisor Cathy
of the Department and Tangri said all those who received the shots
can be safely considered now as out of the pale of Swine Flu. One
shot is enough for guarding a person against such influenza flu for
a year. While Ashok Tangri hailed the efforts of the Gurdwara
Fremont managers for the camp, the management in turn thanked the
Department, Tangri, Bibi Narinder Kaur and their entire team for
their concern, dedication and efforts.
