LUDHIANA: Even
as the Punjab Police continues to harass innocent Sikh youth for
sporting stickers or portraits of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale on
their vehicles or donning t-shirts with the Sant's portrait, the All
India Sikh Students Federation has issued a sticker carrying the
Sant's photograph as a response.
At a function in
Ludhiana, AISSF(Mehta-Chawla) faction's Amarjit Singh Chawla and
Paramjit Singh Khalsa issuesd the sticker and said the Sikh panth
will never forget the great service rendered by the Sant who made
people aware of the Centre's discrimination towards Punjab and its
machinations against the Sikh community.
They said the
quom today needed another Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala at a time
when the self-styled sadh-sants were trying tobring harm to the
panth through their dera culture.
Major Singh
Khalsa, spokesperson of the AISSF, asked those writing half-baked
things and criticism about the Sant to first try and engage with his
work and mission.
