Membership drive receives overwhelming response

CARTARET:
New office bearers were selected and a new executive were formed at
the meeting held last Sunday at Gurdwara Sahib Cataret, which was
attended in large numbers due to the pro-Youth activities and
inspiration by the Head Granthi of the Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Jangbir
Singh. Even the president of the Gurdwara Sahib, Kewal Singh
persuaded and inspired the gathering to join in the mission of
protection of Sikh rights.
The committee of
the other Gurdwara Sahib of the city, Gurdwara Dashmesh Darbar also
assured full cooperation for youth activities to the Sikh Youth of
America.
As
the membership drive of the Sikh Youth of America is receiving a
good response from young Sikh men and women, a major exercise to
reorganize the body is on. In consonance with this year's annual
programme of revamping and reorgansing various units of the
organization, students are being given the responsibility to
organize various units.
Amidst more than
a 100 attendees, senior members enlisted and enrolled them into the
needs of the Sikh nation and the challenges that have to be met in
the coming years.
