Sikh Youth of America condoles Bhai Ahluwalia’s death
WSN Bureau

NEW YORK: The Sikh Youth of America has condoled the death of Bhai Amarjit Singh Ahluwalia, a very well known personality among the Sikh sangat of the United States. Suffering from cancer, Bhai Ahluwalia passed away on September 7.

Bhai Ahluwalia was among those pioneering leaders who, in the immediate aftermath of the army attack on the Golden Temple, got together the Sikh sangat and organizations at the Madison Garden Square and set up the World Sikh Organization after a huge convention. He was also the founder member of the New York Sikh Parade. The bhig of the ‘Paath’ in his memory will be performed on September 11 at Gurdwara Sahib Makhan Shah Lobana.
