Killer Modi is compared to Ram,
Rahim, Jesus by senior official
WSN Network
DANGS: In a
shameful exposeof how deeply communal the Indian bureaucratic steel
frame has become, and how badly rusted is its soul, Gujarat's CM
Narendra Modi, infamous in thge world for allowing large scale
killings of Muslims under his watch in 2002 and deeply dividing
society against Muslims, is now being praised by senior officials in
terms people reserve for God.
This is what the
District Collector of Dangs, Girish Shah, had to say in praise of
Modi while addressing the people during a Garib Kalyan Mela
organised in Ahwa taluka of Dang district on Friday: "Modi is Ram
for Hindus, Rahim for Muslims and Jesus for Christians."
Narendra Modi is
touring all 26 districts of the state with the Garib Kalyan Mela,
disbursing aid to people struggling with poverty. The Chief Minister
visited the Ahwa taluka in Dangs district on Friday and disbursed
monetary aid worth Rs 51 crore to over 30,000 beneficiaries. The
programme was organised at the Police Parade Ground.
Earlier in 2008,
D G Jhalwadia, then District Collector of Amreli, had triggered a
controversy by touching Modi's feet at a state function.
Shah's effusive
praise of Modi caught many dignitaries present on the stage as also
the Chief Minister by surprise. Shah went on to say that "Modi is
father of all orphans" and even called him "Narayan", eliciting
applause from the audience.
It is to be
noted that Girish Shah was Deputy Collector in
Rajkot
and in the year 2007. He was transferred to Dangs with promotion as
Additional Collector-rank officer and was posted in Planning
Department in 2007. Later, he was posted as District Development
Officer of Dangs and after some time promoted as the District
collector.
