Akhand Kirtani Jatha at Gurdwara Fremont

FREMONT: At first look, they all look the way most Kirtani jathas look. But probe a bit deeper and  you run against businessmen, professinals, doctors, scientists. From Friday to Sunday, the Akhand Kirtani Jatha that rendered shabads at Gurdwara Fremont and helped the sangat connect to the Jaap of Waheguru earned immense goodwill and blessings of the sangat. As the sangat showered currency on the jatha, the members cooly put it back into the gurughar’s golak.

From midnight till 4 am, the kirtan performance at the gurdwara could be listened worldwide as it   was webcast live on the internet. After the jatha was honored at Gurdwara Fremont, the gurughar’s president Bhai Harjot Singh Khalsa said the contribution of such dedicated band of individuals to the gurdwara was appreciable and thanked the jatha for making it an unforgettable experience.
